The App requires access to your device camera for:

• Scanning food barcodes to quickly retrieve nutritional information

The camera is only activated when you actively use the barcode scanning feature. We do not store or transmit any image data.

1.3 Device Information and Analytics

We use third-party services (such as Google AdMob and Firebase) that may collect non-identifiable information related to your device, such as:

• Device model and operating system version
• Advertising ID
• App usage statistics (such as page views and feature usage frequency)
• Crash logs

2. Use of Information

The information we collect is used only for:

• Providing and improving the App's core features (dietary tracking, nutrition analysis)
• Querying food databases through barcode scanning
• Displaying advertisements
• Analyzing app performance and fixing bugs

3. Third-Party Services

• OpenFoodFacts: Used to query food nutritional information via barcode. This is an open food database.
• USDA FoodData Central: Used to query USDA food nutrition data.
• Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to provide personalized ads. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Firebase: Used for app analytics and crash reporting. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your dietary records and personal settings are primarily stored locally on your device. We are committed to protecting your information and take reasonable technical measures to prevent unauthorized access. However, please note that internet transmission is not 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Your dietary records will be retained on your device until you choose to delete the App or clear the data. You can export or delete your data at any time through the settings within the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not designed for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You have the following rights:

• Access: You can view and export your dietary records at any time
• Deletion: You can delete individual records or clear all data
• Opt-out of Ad Tracking: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
