Voxboard AI — Privacy Policy

Overview

Voxboard AI ("the App") is a voice-powered keyboard application developed by CB Studio. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

Voxboard AI is designed with privacy in mind. The App:

Does not collect personal data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
Does not store your voice recordings. Voice input is processed in real-time for speech-to-text conversion and is not saved on our servers.
Does not track your location.

Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To deliver relevant ads, AdMob may collect and use the following data:

Advertising Identifier (IDFA/GAID) — used to show personalized ads. You may opt out of personalized ads via your device settings or the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.
Device information — such as device model, operating system version, and screen size, used for ad targeting and optimization.
IP address — used for approximate location-based ad delivery and fraud prevention.

Pro subscribers do not see ads, and no advertising data is collected for Pro users.

Speech Processing

When you use the voice input feature, your speech may be sent to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text or processed on-device using Whisper for transcription. The transcribed text may then be processed by Firebase AI (Gemini) or an on-device LLM for text polishing. Cloud services process your data in real-time and do not retain it. On-device processing keeps all data locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Cloud Speech-to-Text — for cloud voice recognition
Firebase AI Logic (Gemini) — for cloud text polishing
Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (free version only)
Firebase Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics
Firebase Crashlytics — for crash reporting
RevenueCat — for subscription management (processes only anonymous user IDs)

Data Storage

App preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device. Dictation history is stored locally and retained for 3 days (free) or unlimited (Pro).

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
