Summary: LendLocal stores your Bitfinex API credentials and lending configuration locally on your device. We use third-party services for ads, analytics, and crash reporting as described below.
1. Overview
LendLocal ("the App", "we", "us") is a local automation tool for Bitfinex lending. This Privacy Policy explains what data we handle and how. Your Bitfinex API credentials and lending configuration are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data exclusively on your device:
- Bitfinex API Key & Secret — stored in the platform's secure credential store (iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences). Never leaves your device except when making authenticated requests directly to Bitfinex.
- Lending strategy configuration — rate ranges, min/max amounts, automation settings. Stored in encrypted local database (Hive CE).
- Historical lending records — offers, executions, and earnings data fetched from your Bitfinex account and cached locally for display.
This data is never uploaded to any server controlled by LendLocal.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:

4. Advertising
The App displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
5. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No location data
- No contacts or photos
- No financial data beyond what you explicitly configure locally
6. Security
Your API credentials are protected by the operating system's secure storage mechanisms:
- iOS: Keychain Services with kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlocked
- Android: EncryptedSharedPreferences backed by Android Keystore
We recommend enabling device-level biometric authentication for additional security. LendLocal never requests withdrawal permissions — use read-only or funding-only API keys.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
